Valentine’s Day Treats
So, did you get suckered into sign up to bring Valentine treats to the class party? Or did your kids talk you into hosting a party at your house? Or do you just feel like baking up some love for your Valentine? If so, this post is for you! (FYI – 2 of these treat ideas don’t involve baking at all!)
These Chocolate Chip Cookie Hearts (above) look impressive, but you don’t have to have any frosting skills. Yay, for no skills!
If you like your cookies to be less cookie-like and more Rice Krispies-like, try some Valentine Crispy Hearts:
If cupcakes are right up your alley, check out the Cute Strawberry Fudge Cupcakes over at Lemon Sugar’s blog. (I think these will taste as good as they look!)
Here are some Red Velvet Cupcakes from Joy of Baking. She has a how-t0 video, too.

Bakerella whipped up some pretty Red Velvet Sandwich Cookies for your Valentine’s Day enjoyment:
If you’ve been waiting for the no-bake Valentine ideas, wait no more!
Check out these cute Oreo Cookie Pops from See Vanessa Craft: Oreos, candy melts, sprinkles and sticks – that and about 20 minutes is all you need.
And one more no bake treat: Valentine Marshmallow Pops from the Mommy Gaga blog. I’ve done marshmallow pops before – they’re easy and fun:
If you’re crunched for time, don’t worry about finding straws or lollipop sticks for your pops. Skip the sticks and call them marshmallow bites. I’ve done it before and the kids loved ‘em.
So, now that you’re inspired, what are you going to make for Valentine’s Day?
